A nut shelling machine is a food processing machine specifically designed to crush the outer shells of hard-shelled fruits such as walnuts, almonds, and macadamia nuts, while preserving the kernels as intact as possible.

A complete commercial shelling production line typically integrates multiple automated processes, including feeding, shelling, kernel-shell separation, and discharging.

Working Principle:
Roller/Grinding Type: Utilizing the gap between the pressure roller and the pressure plate (or a pair of rollers), the gap gradually narrows, causing the apricot kernels to crack due to the increasing pressure as they pass through. This method achieves a shell-breaking rate of over 99%, and the almond breakage rate can be controlled to within 4%. Specifically, the helical toothed roller type equipment, through specially designed pressure rollers, can achieve a shell-breaking rate of over 86% and a whole-kernel rate of over 82% even for ungraded apricot kernels; if the apricot kernels are pre-graded, both indicators can exceed 95%.
